Pictures of the kids

So I found a wonderful photographer that is great with kids and is really affordable. She took some fun pictures at her studio in her house and then we went to a fun little piece of property that had grass taller then Heidi. Not only did the kids have fun getting their picture taken but they loved running through the grass trying to find each other.

How big can we grow!

I'm really not someone who finds time to write but I'm trying to be better at this whole blogging thing. So I have to say Landen has been my easiest baby. The only time he cries is when he's hungry or wet and he can sleep through anything. The girls love having a little boy around and each of them has been such a huge help. MaKenna is my official diaper getter and she gets upset when someone else tries to do her job. Brianne & Heidi help with the feeding and burping and anything else I'll let them do.

We took Landen to his two week appointment yesterday and he's up to 8lbs 12oz, 21 1/2 inches long. He's in the 90% percentile for his height and 80% percentile for his weight. It's just crazy how big he's getting and how fast times going by.

MaKenna turns 2!

On August 2nd MaKenna turned 2 years old! YEAH, what an exciting fun filled day. This year we decided to rent a blow up castle for the party and let the kids go swimming. Everyone had a lot of fun and to make the day even more memorable Heidi was baptized that morning.
It's crazy to think that my baby is already 2 years old and in 5 months we're going to have another one. I have to say that we have definitely been blessed with three wonderful little girls who are each amazing.

Heidi becomes a member of the LDS Church

On August 2nd Heidi was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was so excited and we are so proud of her and her decision to do this. It wasn't until after she was baptized that we realized that she was baptized the same day Johnnie was baptized.

Dislocated shoulder

This last weekend I was out riding my dirt bike, when I jumped a landing that was over watered and my bike washed out and I hit the ground. I didn't realize I had hurt myself until I went to get back on my bike and couldn't move my left arm. It wasn't shortly after that that I realized I had dislocated my shoulder. Thanks to my great wife, she came out and picked me up and took me to LDS hospital. They did some x-rays and then knocked me out for 15 minutes so they could pop it back into place. I am now on the road to recovery.

Days of 47 Youth Parade

For the Days of 47 Youth Parade our Stake was asked to put together a float. The theme for our Stake was "Wheels of the Web" to represent Genealogy work. Our ward dressed as cars to represent the present. The girls had a lot of fun but said they had a work out with all the walking they did.

Camping over the 4th at Mt. Pleasant

Over the 4th we took a relaxing vacation in the mountains of Mt. Pleasant. Later that night we had fun at a carnival and watched an amazing firework show! Definitely a MUST do again adventure.

Heidi's birthday party with her friends

For Heidi's birthday party we took her and her friends to the salon to get their hair, nails and makeup done.
Heidi had a blast getting her nails done and was so excited to tell the ladies at the salon that it was her birthday.
The final photo!

Heidi's birthday at Bear World

For Heidi's birthday this year she wanted to go to Bear World in Rexburg, Idaho. This place was amazing! We first drove through the area with deers and mountain goats then we drove through the area with bears. The park has 28 black bears and 3 grizzlies that all roam where ever they want. After you drive through the park you go to the gift center where they have a petting zoo and carnival rides. The girls were able to pet everything from deer, goats, chickens & ducks to fawns. We also took the curator tour which allowed us to get on the back of a large truck and feed the bears. We fed the bears muffins, bread, donuts & their favorite treat Twinkies. After five hours in the park we meet up with some of the girls friends and spent the rest of the day hanging out in Idaho Falls. Heidi had so much fun that she said this was her best birthday ever.

Father's Day

For Father's Day we went to Johnnie's grandma's house for a swimming party. Brianne & Heidi are in swimming lessons this summer so they were excited to practise what they have been learning. MaKenna is fearless when it comes to water. She was jumping off the diving board and was going down the slide just after getting in the water. I would have to say she takes after her dad when it comes to water.
